Synopsis
1910. After being a part of a travelling family circus troupe, Rose (12) and her grandfather Hoffman settle in a remote hut in the Alps. Far from the civilised world, Rose tames and befriends two clever marmots and teaches them to dance. When winter becomes too harsh and food in the high mountains too scarce, she decides to go down to town to make ends meet with a musical act as a marmot trainer. But the city turns out to be more tricky and dangerous than expected for a young girl and her cute friends. Rose must face marmot hunters, thieves and other villains. Will she be able to save the marmots, help her loving grandfather and succeed a life in the limelight?
